January 2004 saw the 25^th anniversary of Jeffrey Milner Ltd. Philip & Gráinne Suter started the company in 1979.  Originally involved with property refurbishment the company quickly progressed to property letting & management. It currently trades as jml Training & Consultancy & jml Property Services. 

jml Training & Consultancy:

In the past few years the emphasis has been on training & consultancy. Gráinne Suter MA BSc who heads the company is a highly experienced consultant and trainer who specialises in leadership development and provides coaching to executive directors and senior management teams

She has considerable experience of training on capacity building projects overseas.  She has trained on behalf of the

•     British Council,

•     Westminster Foundation for Democracy

•     Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE)

•     United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

In addition Gráinne Suter was a founder Director of midas training solutions, an associated company to jml Training and Consultancy for many years.

She has worked as an Associate Lecturer with the Open University. During this period she increased her understanding and gained much experience in the field of adult learning and is a member of The British Psychological Society (BPS).

jml Property Services:

In 2001 euro-rentavilla.com was established. An online directory of over 800 holiday homes available for rental in Europe. The property owner pays a small annual fee to advertise a property and all arrangements are made direct with the property owner saving the owner and renter money.

The site has been very successful and to keep within the main jml Company branding, the site has been redesigned to keep pace with the fast changing Internet market and was re branded as jmlvillas.com in the spring of 2004. A very successful offshoot of the site has been an insurance site for Landlords and tenants insurance, holiday home insurance, travel and excess car hire insurance – jml-property-insurance.co.uk  The company runs other websites involved with holiday accommodation - euro-rentals.com, villa-rental-france.com, englishcottagerental.com, scottishcottagerental.com, welshcottagerental.com and euro-villalocation.com.

Philip Suter FNAEA, MARLA, runs the Property Services side of the business and is still very much involved with the Residential Lettings business as his role as Consultant Director of Lettings at The JNP Partnership (Estate & Letting agents in South Buckinghamshire), which is also celebrated a milestone in January 2005 – Ten years. He has been involved with the Residential Letting business for over 25 years. In 1981 set up Jeffrey Milner Property lettings and then in 1984 became a partner in Frank Farr & Sons, a firm of estate agents in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Middlesex who were established in 1852.

He set up the residential lettings department and when Frank Farr and Sons was acquired by the Leeds Permanent Building Society in the late 1980's an additional letting office was added and he had overall responsibility for the lettings and magement of several hundred properties. Frank Farr & Sons was re-branded Frank Farr. In the late 1990' he set up a lettings department in Beaconsfield, Bucks and became a Director of Tennysons/Aitchisons. He has served on the National Council of ARLA (The Association of Residential Letting Agents) for two years and on the Buckinghamshire branch of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) .
